REMOTE DESKTOP WITH JIOFI 3 ROUTER PUBLICLY

You can remotely access your PC publicly with using JIOFI 3 Router. First of all open port 3389 from your JIOFI 3 Router as port 3389 is generally used for remote desktop. To know how to forward a port in JIOFI 3 router visit https://amitsblog.xyz/wp/2018/11/05/port-forwarding-in-jiofi3-router/ 

In Remote Settings, enable “Allow connections from computers running any version of Remote Desktop”

CHECK OPENED PORTS PUBLICLY IN JIOFI3 ROUTER

You can check the ports opened by JIOFI 3 router are accessible publicly or not. If you check your opened ports using Canyouseeme.org, it will not show your opened ports as it uses IPV4. As IPV4 is not accessible in JIO. Only IPV6 is accessible in JIO. We need port forwarding as we want to run a server behind the NAT firewall/router. Port on your router must be opened to run web server  and other services like Remote Desktop, FTP server, SMTP server, SSH server etc. Some common ports are as below  :

TURN OFF THE DISPLAY WITHOUT SLEEP IN DELL VENUE 8 PRO

Windows 8.1 on tablet has  settings in power management: sleep, shutdown, or do nothing. There is no such a setting that can make the tablet turning off its screen without falling into sleep mode just as normal Android tablets or iPads do. Even if the advanced power settings say turn off the screen after a few minutes, the screen does not turn off. It put the tab into sleep mode. Downloads, music, wifi, many services keep getting stopped when tablet goes to sleep. Dell seems to have replaced the Windows advanced power options on the control panel with their own. Host a website in home PC using JIOFI 3 router

Hosting a website on your PC can be very interesting. I host my website in my windows tab DELL VENUE 8 PRO with windows 8.1 Pro using JIO ROUTER JIOFI 3. Some ISP’s blocks port 80, but  with JIO you can run your own webserver as port 80  is not blocked by JIO.  We need to do port forward to port 80. Note : JIO is not providing static ip. You will have to update your ip when it changes
